Default Proper attire for lower level dressage

I am thinking about doing a dressage schooling show and showing my guy at training level this year. What is the proper attire for lower levels? Do you have to have a dressage saddle? Are black gloves acceptable? What about show coat? Can it be navy blue?
Thanks!

Depending on the show, a lot of times if it is a schooling show you are allowed to wear informal attire i.e. neat and clean schooling attire. I would say light colored breeches, black gloves, and a fitted vest would fit the bill for this situation. If formal attire is required, then a dark coat, (black or blue) white or cream colored breeches, and black or white gloves.
