Default equine chiropractors

What are your thoughts on equine chiropractors? Have you ever used one? Do you think they work? Are they for real and do they know what they are doing?

I know some people think chiropractors are quacked - for humans and horses alike. I have used a chiropractor regularly for a few of my horses but the lady came very highly recommended. I would use her again. The change in my horses was amazing!

I had a tb mare a long time ago and she would buck and buck all the time. I got a chiro out (everyone seemed to be using this one guy at the time so it seemed like the thing to do) and he said she had a few vertibrae (sp?) out. He put them "back in" and I really do think it made a difference. I had him out regularly (I think once or twice a month) and she got better and better. Or, looking back, it could have been the training that was making her get better and better. Who knows? lol. I have not used a chiro in recent years. I do use massage though. My horse sure tells me he loves it. I know I love it
