Cutting grain
I am going to be away for 5 days next week should I bother cutting my horse's grain?

Is anyone going to do anything with him while you are gone? It can't hurt to cut the grain, especially if he gets really fresh when he is not in work.

I agree it certainly won't hurt to cut the grain. A lot of people I know will give them less grain even over the weekend if they are not being worked.

Thanks guys I cut the grain. My trainer said to just give him a couple handfuls while he was not in work so that's what we did.
