Canadian Eventing Team at WEG

Canadian Eventers have brought back a team Silver, their first medal in the discipline in thirty-two years, on the strength of what was arguably the finest cross-country run in history!

In the teams championship, England won the gold on 139.40 penalties, Canada the silver on 151.5 penalties and New Zealand took out the bronze on 154.80 penalties.

The Canadian equestrians are really getting strong! First gold and silver medals in show jumping and a gold medal in para dressage at the 2008 Olympics, now a team silver for eventing at WEG the Europeans better watch out! Give us a few more years and we'll really be all over it!
