How many times do you clip?

How many times do you clip your horse during the winter? I tend to clip at least 3 or 4 times. I do my first clip in mid September. If you clip them early you avoid getting that "mousy" color once you clip. Then I usually clip about every 4-6 weeks after. It's a pain in the butt but makes working them and cooling out sooooo much easier.

When I used to clip Buddy I did the first clip at the end of Sept, beginning of October. Then followed up his clip twice after that, usually 6 weeks or so.

Once or twice a year. My horse gets a modified trace clip. My trainer does it for me.
