Default Mane pulling- what age to start

My friend has a 10 month old weanling and his mane is huge and thick. We are thinking we should tackle it soon before it gets much worse. When can you pull a baby's mane for the first time?

You can for sure start doing it at that age, just pull a few hairs out at a time and keep the sessions very short. It will probably take you a few days to do the whole thing.

Yes, I would definatly start pulling right away! Agreed do it in short session as the young horses attention span in low!!!

Thanks we did get the mane done over a period of several weeks. It took forever but toward the end he was getting much better!
