Default Clipping for winter

It's that time of year again when I am realizing it's taking way too long to cool my horse out after I ride. He is getting wooly! When does everybody clip and what type of clip do you give you horse? I usually do a modified blanket clip but this year I think I am going to do the whole horse, it's just easier and looks better. I hope to get him clipped within the next couple weeks. Just have to rent or borrow some clippers!

I will be doing my horse this weekend. I will be doing a full clip except I like to leave the legs and face for some protection even though he is blanketed and stabled at night. That and he is very ticklish when I do the legs! I do love this time of year, there is something about riding when there is that bit of crispness in the air that makes me feel more alive somehow. I love the changing seasons!
