Default Cavalia!

Anyone seen Cavalia? My mom just surprised me with tickets we are going on the weekend. I am not really sure what to expect, I have heard a lot of great things. Looking forward to seeing all the horses they look beautiful!

Yes I saw cavalia and thought it was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes. Beautifully done show with a combination of acrobatics and horsemanship. I was very impressed with the training of the horses- it actually blew me away. It's not really your typical circus act that's for sure, it's more of a "show" with a storyline, well sort of. There is no talking. You are in for a treat nonetheless, let me know how what you think of it. I would see it again for sure.

I was mostly impressed by the acrobatics and the "show." The sets and the scenes were pretty cool and I thought the music was quite good. As for the horsemanship, I don't know what exactly I was expecting but honestly the horsey stuff did not blow me away. I guess I am spoiled because I have seen real grand prix dressage, world class vaulting, rodeo trick riding, and very high level liberty work. The dressage was pretty abysmal. I forget what else they had in there. Don't get me wrong, it was definitely entertaining, and I think the horse stuff would impress non-horsey folks, it just didn't impress me all that much.

I saw Cavalia and my favorite part was by far the "Grande Liberté." Six or eight horses (I can't remember which, but a lot) are all at liberty on stage and the level of communication I thought was very high. Albeit at times one or two of the young horses got a bit fiesty but the neat thing was that the girl performing just went with the flow and allowed the horses to be themself and this just showed off their natural play drive and beauty even more. I have played with liberty a bit with one horse and developed only little of the connection that is needed so I can't imagine doing it with an entire heard!
