Default Bleach to get rid of thrush?

Has anyone tried using bleach to get rid of thrush? One of the horses I am riding right now has the most horrible thrush, it smells something terrible. The farrier came the other day and cut a lot of it out, but still.. I don't know why he has it so bad, it's not even the wet season. I have heard that using bleach can get rid of it in one day but I have never tried it myself.

Personally I would not use bleach. Bleach can burn.
There are some good thrush remedies on the market. Did you ask your farrier what he recommends to use?

I have heard of some people using bleach but I am with Marchadors, I wouldn't use it either. Bleach can kill the good, healthy living tissue in the feet as well as the bad bacteria. I would try tea tree oil. That stuff is great for any skin and hoof bacteria and it's healthier on the horse.
