Just go this email and wanted to spread the word:
This is a horse in Quesnel that's in desperate need of a home. He is around 5 years old and relatively untouched. He has very cracked feet (one in particular is bad) and has never had a trim. He is definitely a project horse but is good natured and deserving of care. He will be left out in a field with no food or water and his feet will remain untouched. He will be free if someone can take him (I believe). If you know anyone with room for him and the willingness to spend some time getting him adjusted (trained enough to have his feet done), please share this so he can survive. Best case scenario this boy is left out in the field to fend for himself, and he's also at risk of being put down if someone can't take him.
Crooked Leg Ranch is currently at capacity and unable to take in more horses; but they are working hard to find a home for him before winter. I've attached a photo of the horse (beautiful dark bay) and his horrendous feet as well. He is in good flesh and won't take any special feeding care.
