What is with people?

This is the kind of typical horse buyer I am dealing with lately:

"Um I am looking for something well broke and well trained, 5-7 years old, SOUND. Good on roads and at shows, good with kids, warmblood or warmblood cross, great movement as I want to do dressage and I want something fancy wiht a lot of presence. And oh I can only pay up to $2000."

Am I crazy? why do people want the world, but then they don't want to pay for it? I am beginning to think I am loosing it...

I was looking for a similarly described horse when I was horse shopping only mine is 14 years old, a qh/appy cross and I still paid $5000!

I agree I don't get it. What you just described seems like the perfect horse. Does such an animal even exist? lol. If it did, it would be a hell of a lot more then $2000!!
