I have a very sweet and gentle 4 yr old black Canadian mare, 14.3. hands. Still green but doing great with walk trot and canter, english and western. Nothing bothers this mare! I had a girlfriend ride her the other day and she had never been on a horse before and Roxy did amazing walk trot with a complete beginner! She didn't mind all the bouncing around of yanking on the reins, she was very tolerable. You can do whatever you want with her! She's very willing and loves having a job. She knows all her ground work and is very respective. Not at all spooky, I took her for her first trail ride the other day, it was a small one but she was very mellow, she would make a great trail/camping horse and has the stocky build and strong feet for it. She has a gorgeous and thick mane and tall. Loves attention. Up to date with EVERYTHING, just had her shots, coggins, teeth floated, feet trimmed, and de-wormed, this mare is good to go! She was great for the vet and farrier. Roxy is a very flashy mover and really pleasure
