Amateur safe horse wanted!

I am looking for a very level-headed, confident horse for an amateur lady in her 50s. This will be her first horse. Her horse will receive the best of care and be in a consistent program.

Guidelines:
8-16 years old
15.3 - 16.3 hh
Mare (non-marish or gelding
All colours and most breeds fine, no full Arabs or TB's please (unless, you know, THE exception...)

My client does not want a horse she has to leg forward with every stride (eg. no total slugs) - but she is a competent Intermediate rider with a good leg and balance. It is very important that her horse be reliable, respectful on the ground, and not afraid of Life.

She wishes to do basic dressage and some low jumps for fun.

Budget $7000 maximum. Temperament is first priority.
