Would excel in amateur Hunter/Jumper or 3 Day Eventer. Askum is a 2001, black, 16hh sport horse, Warmblood like in conformation. He has been shown since 2005; he has competed in hunter/jumper (2’2”), reining, trail, halter, and barrels. Askum jumps 4’ with room to spare; he has started training in dressage and shows plenty of potential. His flatwork is all there (extensions, collections, etc.), great movement and easy to ride (alone or with a group). Great ground manners and very calm, can be ridden without any tack or halter; has been used for lessons by beginners and intermediate riders. Great on the trails (very hard to spook), has been used to herd and ‘pony’ other horses. He has been in parades and ridden through town. No aggression or vices; trailers, loads, baths, clips, etc. UTD on everything and has only had 2 owners. Price negotiable and transportation can be arranged.
