| Dyllan was purchased from Ronniger Farms in 2005 for $5000.00, Daisy is her foal and was born February 14th 2005. We have their paperwork, but never paid to register them, and I am unsure of their height. Dyllan was trained to pull a cart prior to our purchase, but has only been used for Ranch Work since. Both received 6 months of work and training from a neighbor who rode them frequently for ranch use, brandings etc in rough terrain. However, they have only been ridden a few times in the past year, as I have moved towards primarily using an ATV over the past 10 years. Primarily purchased for our small children, they have proved to be too powerful and spirited for them to easily control. The horses have quite different dispositions. The older mare has a friendly calm demeanor, but has also shown a tendency to be bullish and difficult to control and has at times become agitated after several hours of work. Daisy is somewhat friendly and very attractive, but is more spirited and playful. We thought we were purchasing ponies, whereas these horses seem to be more suited for heavy use and work, they are very powerfully built. I have purchased a small older cattle horse for our children, and have no interest in riding this type of horse myself, and would like to sell them to someone who is more interested in working with them. Contact me for a picture, my photo would not upload. |
