| Barnabas is a very handsome, straight and sound 13-year-old bay Morgan-Percheron cross gelding. He was purchased in 2005 and has been enjoyed on the trails, for 4H and riding-lessons in his present home; he spent two years in Pony Club with his previous family. Barnabas has a lot of personality, is very curious, can open any doors or gates if they aren't well secured and often is playful. Barnabas was started under saddle as a 4-year-old. His gaits are very nice, he does fine with arena work as long as it is varied, and he has been lightly jumped, which he really seemed to enjoy. Barnabas gets BORED just standing around, so his ideal new owner will be a confident, knowledgeable rider who loves to spend time ON as well as with his/her horse. If you are looking for a fun, comfortable, versatile new friend to enjoy on trails as well as maybe open shows, 4H, Pony Club, lower-level dressage or eventing, he might be your boy. Barnabas has good solid feet, is current on his shots and worming and lives by Aumsville, Oregon. |
