Lauren began her teaching career in 2003, a native to Ontario she has taught and shown in both the US and Canada. After starting in a lesson program at the age of 6, Lauren’s love for horses has never passed. Lauren has owned multiple horses since age 9 and has had the opportunity of training with many top professionals. After years of showing her Warmbloods in both the Dressage and Hunter rings, Lauren attended beauty school becoming a makeup artist and hairstylist. However, as much as she loved her career in the beauty industry, the horses still came first. Lauren’s passion for the equestrian world made her decide to pursue a career as a coach after her mother, International Gold Level Figure Skating Judge. Watching her mother coach students for over 20 years as well as skating competitivly herself showed Lauren how rewarding the experience of developing a great athlete is. Lauren enjoys teaching all levels of riders who are keen to improve their riding skills and show competitively. She attends both rated and schooling shows monthly and will travel to other stables for lessons in the lower mainland. Lauren now resides in BC and is happy to be able to provide a professional, caring and educational opportunity for her students to develop as riders. *Insured. |
