| Why Thermography? It is non-invasive, two dimensional, and real time. How can Equine Thermography be used? Pre-purchase, pre-sale, hoof balancing, abscesses, bruises, laminitis, baseline scans with your sound horse. Pre-event, post-event, muscle injury and atrophy, joint inflammation. Vascular patterning and circulatory changes, tendons, ligaments nerve damage, and general diagnostics. Early detection... early prevention.
We suggest a full body baseline scan to start with. Around 50 images are captured in a 20-30 minute time frame. I then inspect the thermal images and give you a report on my findings along with a disc of all the images taken. On site, no hauling required maintaining a stress free environment for your horse. Anytime of the year. We work together with your veterinarian for a quick diagnosis and prognosis. Note: As I am not a veterinarian I cannot diagnose what is found on the thermal scan. I do pinpoint areas of interest that should be further investigated.
